We team up with charities, social enterprises and schools, so we can support the communities and causes we care about.
Take a look at some of our collaborations with ambitious people, delivering projects that make a positive social impact.
We regularly team up with Kemnay Academy to support their graphic communication students with their coursework.
Most recently, we looped in our brilliant client The Pig’s Wings to help set an exciting brief, tailored to the SQA guidelines; a printed specials menu and a wall-mounted digital screen.
We shared brand assets and written content with the students, they then conjured up a mix of fantastic outcomes, ranging from sticking strictly to the rules, to making up new ones, and everything in between.

Our Creative Lead Madeleine designed and painted (build by Edge) a psychedelic inspired face in hole board which is found at the festival hub in Circle Square.
Visit MPF siteIf you haven’t been to a Soundplay Projects event before, we highly recommend you do. Creative directors Ewan Sinclair and Bal Cooke combine technology, sensory materials and sound to create inclusive, playful experiences for people of all abilities.
We’ve worked together from the start, developing a website and fun visual identity with brand assets that mirror the modular nature of their process.
Most recently, we’ve helped bring House Music to life; an expressive, web-based music tool that enables people to collaboratively make music together from mobile devices, laptops and tablets.
Visit Soundplay ProjectsWe teamed up with V&A Dundee to bring the magic of the dance floor into products to support their exhibition, Night Fever: Designing Club Culture.
The collection of products included prints, pins, stickers and totebags. It’s always a thrill to see them out and about in the wild!
Visit shopWhen physical events swiftly moved online, we worked with Gray’s School of Art to design and build their virtual degree show.
The graduating artists and designers built some amazing virtual spaces, which made it very difficult to choose our Virtual Space Award winner.
But we got there in the end and picked Shae Myles. She started her month placement with us and was such a brilliant addition, she stayed with us for a year.
Shae’s multidisciplinary practice work has been shown in London, Canada and Switzerland, and she’s the co-founder of Jiggle n Juice, a collective that supports artists emerging from art school into the industry.
See Shae's workGrampian Hospital Arts Trust are a cracking (and award-winning) organisation that provide arts experiences to all who spend time in NHS Grampian.
They aim to improve wellbeing and mental health through art and creativity - something we can get behind!
We provide ongoing design and development support for Postcards from Home, a virtual exhibition of postcard size artworks.
So far we’ve helped raise thousands to support the work of the Trust.
View case studySigns of Change Kirriemuir is a project that helps brighten up the town, engage local groups, and celebrate their history.
Answering an open call, our Design Lead Madeleine and friend of the studio Shae submitted ‘Rooting for you’. They were inspired by the brief’s prompt to highlight Kirriemuir’s agricultural industry and intertwined this with an uplifting message of positivity.
Some lovely words from Signs of Change:
"With Sustainable Kirrie in the forefront of our minds, we knew this piece had to be painted. With such a positive message and great design, this piece speaks volumes about the way the local community have taken to growing their own veg. From the polytunnels at the schools and nurseries, to the community garden. Growing food and getting to know where our food comes from has been a very important step forward for many."
Light the North was a lighthouse trail across the North-East of Scotland, including Moray, Orkney and Shetland. On the tour, visitors discovered over 45 lighthouse sculptures, designed and created by local artists.
Our Creative Director Tuesday and Design Lead Madeleine got stuck in by submitting a design each; People Light the North and Guided.
We love getting involved in community projects that have such a positive impact. The trail raised awareness and funds for CLAN Cancer Support, the most significant cancer support charity in the region.
